Penny Royal

The Penny Royal Cafe

One of the first to open a "hole-in-the-wall" style cafe in Mosman.

The location is tight and intimate with really small tables and seats.

This cafe is popular with the local gym goers. Every morning there are people in their gym and cycle gear having breakfast and sipping coffee.

This a great spot for take-away and it seems to be really popular with local businesses.

As with any cafe that serves Campos coffee, the blend is smooth and consistent.

There are numerous "park benches" in the lane way which often accommodate the local coffee drinkers.

Busy and just a tad noisy. And there is little protection from the weather. But that is the attraction! Bustling.

Getting there

Walking? Easy level access from Spit Junction. The cafe is hidden behind the shops on Military Road. This is a small lane way that connects the council to Vista St. There are many small retail businesses in this cute strip.

Driving? No need.

Parking? Plenty of parking in the council car parks, located behind the council and near Mosman pool in Vista St.

Bus? Get off at Spit Junction and head towards Mosman Council. Myagah Mews is a lane way behind Military Road and leads into the plaza in front of the council.
